2) Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit c2a.studio, contact us, request a quote, book a call, or engage us for services.

3) Personal information we collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) you provide it, (b) we collect it automatically, (c) we receive it from service providers used to operate the Site.

A. Information you provide

  • Contact details: name, email, phone, company name

  • Project details: general scope, timelines, site access logistics, and other details you provide

  • Files and content: drawings, photos, documents, and messages you send

  • Billing records: invoices and payment status (payment details are typically handled by third-party processors)

B. Information collected automatically (cookies/analytics)

When you visit the Site, we (and our service providers) may collect:

  • Device and usage data: browser type, device type, pages viewed, approximate location (derived from network signals), and referring pages

  • Cookie data: identifiers used for site functionality and analytics

C. Site hosting data

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which may process certain information from visitors to deliver and secure the website platform. Squarespace

4) How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • provide quotes and services;

  • communicate with you;

  • operate, secure, and improve the Site;

  • understand site usage through analytics;

  • comply with legal and accounting obligations.

5) Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site (e.g., page views, traffic sources, and general engagement). Squarespace supports enabling a cookie banner and configuring cookie consent choices, including an opt-in & out style that can prevent analytics cookies from dropping until a visitor accepts (depending on your configuration). Your choices: You can control cookies through:

  • our cookie banner (if displayed), and

  • your browser settings (block/delete cookies).

6) How we share personal information

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense. We may share information with:

  • Squarespace (site hosting and site operations) Squarespace

  • Google Analytics (site analytics services) — Google describes its role as a data processor for Analytics in certain jurisdictions and provides controls/settings for customers. Google Help

  • other vendors we use to run the business (e.g., email, invoicing), limited to what they need to perform services for us;

  • legal/compliance recipients if required by law or to protect rights and safety;

  • a successor entity if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

7) Showcasing our work (portfolio / marketing use)

We may display examples of our work product (for example: photographs, scans, renderings, point-cloud views, 2D plan excerpts, 3D model screenshots, or similar materials) on our website, social media, proposals, presentations, and other media only in a de-identified form.

De-identified means we do not intentionally include:

  • client names, logos, or identifying branding;

  • title blocks or notes containing client/project identification;

  • addresses, parcel IDs, or other direct location identifiers;

  • other details that we reasonably believe would identify a client.

Important practical limit: Built environments can sometimes be recognizable even without names or addresses (e.g., distinctive exteriors or interiors). We will take reasonable steps to avoid identification, but we cannot guarantee that a third party could never infer a location from context.

Contract controls: If a written agreement, NDA, or client instruction prohibits portfolio use, C2A Studio will of course honor that agreement.

8) Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining project records, handling revisions, and meeting tax/accounting/legal requirements.

9) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure.

10) Your rights and requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to opt out of certain processing.

How to submit a request: Email hello@c2a.studio with subject “Privacy Request” and include your name, the best contact method, and the request details. We may need to verify your identity.

11) Children’s privacy

The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
